Natural Bats got its start the old fashioned way, in the Perri Family
garage in South Bend, IN. This wasn't the first good idea born in that
garage, but its the only one that people were willing to pay for.
In
preparation for his professional debut Kevin Perri decided to start
making his own bats. He had professional and college baseball experience and an
engineering degree and he knew he could make quality bats for himself
and save some money. While he played with teams in Texas his friends
and teammates were interested in his bats and so he came back to his
parents Indiana garage and made more. Other friends and family became
interested in having 'mini-bats' so he made those too. One thing led to
another and Natural Bats was born.
Perri's company now sells bats to professional athletes (USA, Canada, and Venezuela), college and high school players, little
leaguers, softball players and anyone else interested in having a fine
handcrafted bat.
